What follows is a guide to the keyboard and mouse controls for the three BFME games - excluding hotkeys for training individual units in Skirmish mode.

- Left click - Select individual unit, structure, ability, battle stance, etc.
- Left click and drag box - Select many units
- Right click - Move selected unit(s) to a spot, or make them attack an enemy unit or structure
- Arrow keys - Navigate around the map
